I think it's on hulu now as well but IDK if you have access to that. I think they might release DVD's too at some point, or maybe they already did. You'll like it though Tara !! <3

Isn't she? I didn't remember what a great bitch she was either until the old hangout, whenever we started discussing things. It was nice to learn how lovely she actually is too, through that documentary thing not His Name Was Jason but the other one. They said she was the nicest person on set. <3

Yeah def try to get the Scream tv show somehow. It's different, but not. It's like the tv show format made so much sense for that kind of Scream who-did-it storylines.

She was a great actress to pull off bitch and be really lovely in rl.

I think they show redo scream tv for Sidney and co. More development and more Tatum too.

Hey that's a cool idea. Like act like it's a remake/reboot of the movie but on tv, and explore more of that story. And yes more Tatum always a good idea <3

Anyone remember Scream Queens? It was pretty cheesy, but I watched most of the first season and it was actually pretty decent, I remember.

I'd love to see more Tatum myself Smile She was robbed and I think she could have been expanded upon.

I never got to watch Season 2 of it. I heard it wasn't as good as the first, but I do feel like I might still like it, so I will definitely have to try and watch it.

I haven't seen Scream Queens but it's on hulu or one of the formats that I have. Its tone threw me off in the first episode but from what I read it sounds like a blast of a show. I need to give it another go for sure. Plus it had a ton of stars that I like.

Scream Queens is okay. Not something I would rewatch but it kept me interested enough to watch it all the way through.

Anyone seen Rob Zombies 31, I have been thinking of buying it but after I paid 15.00 for Lords of Salem not sure if I want to waste my money

It depends on what you disliked about Lords of Salem, as well Zombie's other films.

In terms of 31, I almost wanna say it's a little more straightforward than Lords of Salem or Halloween II, both of which confused the fuck out of people and felt like perverse nightmares. But if you are expecting likeable characters, don't bother buying it. Trashy characters comprise this movie as well, though there was a kickass older female character who was my favorite after Sheri Moon Zombie (I personally love her and she's one of my favorite Scream queens). The rest of the cast are basically trashy assholes, but I always know this about his films going into them.

I always felt like Zombie had shitty stories but fantastic production values. Even naysayers have to admit that Lords of Salem *looked* very fall and atmospheric. Plus, there's a certain brutality to death scenes in these movies and though several of them push the envelope too far (poor Octavia Spencer in Halloween II ;_; ), at least he's trying to push the envelope. A big part of horror is stirring up controversy and he at least tries to do that. The blood flows in his movies, and there's never a shortage of it.

I say give it a rent, but don't buy it until you know for sure if you like it. Make no mistake, 31 is a Rob Zombie film through and through.

I like The Lords of Salem! It isn't perfect, but it does a nice job of capturing Salem (the Bewitched statue <3), and it does look really nice like Dan said. It's too bad that Rob Zombie's reputation has taken such a fall over the last decade cause I've always been a fan of his music, and he does have a lot of imagination and artistry (has anyone else seen that clip where he painted the Headbangers Ball set from the late 90's lol? I think he did the whole set). He just showed his limitations as an artist when he went into films. He can direct well, but he's just not a very good writer.

I haven't seen anything he did besides The Devil's Rejects, but yeah, it saddens me a little that he's gained a lot of haters for trying to expand into film. I like a lot of his songs.

Yah I can't get into Scream Queens. I tried. Has anyone seen Slasher? It's another horror tv show on Netflix.

Neil, I was really scared by the first Paranormal Activity. I went into it without knowing crap about it. Those evil devil feet in the flour scared me so bad lol.

I would watch the Scream TV Show, and Slasher looks interesting, but they are such a time commitment. That's my main problem. Easier to watch a new movie than devote several hours to a show, though I'm sure they are good. I hear good things, anyway. Scream Queens doesn't appeal to me at all. I hate to say it and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but it almost seems like the show of last resort for actors and actresses who can't get work elsewhere so they fall back on their horror roots to keep acting. True, or nah? :\

Neil, I'll have to do a quick ranking of the top five movies that actually frightened me. I know I talked about it before, but now that IMDb boards are gone, I can post it for all to see so that I can make them known here. lol

Bread Crumbs (2011)

Once in a while, I'll get shipped a random title from DVD Netflix that I go into with no preconceived notions. Bread Crumbs is one such example. I believe I added it to my queue because another website I go to a lot seemed to like it just fine, but I had long forgotten about it until it showed up in my mailbox. And, to my surprise, I guess this one sits on Amazon Prime viewing for free so I didn't even need to rent it at all thru Netlflix DVD. Oops.

I will have to say that I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. An alternate title to this is Hansel & Gretel Massace which doesn't exactly scream AMAZING movie to me. But this movie (amongst others, as I discussed before on the horror thread) is exactly the reason I enjoy Amazon Prime. There's tons of trash on there, but once in a while you will find something fun. Note that I said fun, not exactly good. And this movie isn't stellar by any stretch... it's just a stupid little backwoods slasher where a group of adult filmmakers fight for survival when their group falls under attack from Hansel, and Gretel may or may not be involved.

A few likeable quirks. The final girl role is actually fulfilled by probably the oldest cougar in the bunch, which was a rare touch to have in a slasher but interesting nonetheless since her older age gave her an edge over her fellow friends in terms of survival and the killer in terms of tricking him enough so for her to escape. What was odder was that a film in which a bodycount consists of mostly pornographers and pornstars wasn't even a complete trainwreck, and some of them were pretty likeable too. Also, there really wasn't a whole lot of gratuitous sex in this either. I do think there was a "Tom Cruise from Risky Business" moment with the cutest man in the bunch. He was one of the ones in the only sex scene of the film. I didn't try pausing to find out exactly, but I did rewind and I do think I saw definitely sausage action for a split second. LOL Still, no death-by-fucking sequences since these were professionals (lol), not consumed by any desire but rather occupation.

A couple main problems I had with this: As likeable as she was, the final girl was a bit too naïve about something so blatantly obvious to the viewer and it was a bit maddening at times. The movie does have something of a non-ending... perhaps they ran out of budget and decided to end things quickly? It also didn't seem like nearly enough time was spent establish sort of backstory for our killers, aside from what one would expect from the 'Hansel & Gretel' fairy tale.

Still, I've settled on giving this one a love tap 8/10. It probably deserves something more like a 6/10 for the forgiving viewer, but fuck it....a 3.1/10 IMDb rating is a bit criminal when I know for a FACT certain pieces of shit deserve way lower but somehow get a higher rating (*Lake Fear* or *Amber Alert*). Plus, even though this is cliché in execution, at least it didn't pull out a cliché "twist" ending like "FINAL GIRL IS THE KILLER!" or "THIS IS ALL A DREAM!" or "FINAL GIRL BECOMES EVIL TOO" which is usually where most of these low budget films go to try to have their cake and stray off the established formula so that they can eat it too. Fuck that shit. No ending is better than one of ^those endings!

Cliffnotes version - Passable, dumb entertainment at best. If you need a night off from stuff that requires much thought and just want to see a beautiful slasher cast get theirs, then this might be up your alley. Certified Guilty Pleasure.

See anything you like <3? lol Did you actually go back to look for penis (cute), or were you just rewinding the film caused you missed something (like penis lmao)? Funny though. I think I did that when I was younger a couple times to Jason Goes to Hell (I used to think the guy in the tent scene was so hot). Back then horror movies mostly had boobies (boring) so bless Adam Marcus. He looked out for us gay boys.

Dan, didn't you say you were interested in stalking our ratings on IMDB? I'm going to try to watch a bunch of films (mostly horror) in the upcoming weeks, so look out for my ratings if you're interested. I might not review them all here (idk yet). I finally saw The Good Neighbor a couple nights ago (didn't like it) and Closet Monster (pretty good). They're both on Netflix. I took a fairly large break from film after getting burnt out from last October (I know that was months ago).

Yeessss please post your profile link so that can book mark it <3

LOL Jason Goes to Hell... dare I say that I actually really liked this movie even though it seems to be the one that gets shit on the most? That tent scene was pretty hot in terms of sex scenes in that franchise, and the melting scene downright creeped me out the first time I saw it. It's a corny concept I admit, but it's still fun... just in a different way than the 'Paramount" Fridays.

Haven't seen Closet Monster but The Good Neighbor really depressed me when I saw it. I wouldn't say that it's a bad movie... just surprisingly mean-spirited, in a rather psychological way.

I watched the first episode of the Scream series. It'll be probably good for mindless entertainment in the next couple of weeks... sometimes I find myself wanting to watch something short and sweet but don't want to get committed to a full movie. So, I'll probably watch this.
